seed vending machines are being installed in various parts of kerala state under the
Rashtriya Krishi Vigyan Yojana scheme.
Trissur :A vending machine that dispenses vegetable seeds was installed at the bus station of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation at trissur.
The machine offers six options. They may be chosen to get seeds of lady's finger, spinach, long beans, bitter gourd, ash gourd and snake gourd. The cost of a packet of seeds in Rs.10/-
Kollam: Jerome Nagar commercial complex at kollam. Seeds of ten different vegetables can be bought using the machine.
